MARSEILLE SOAP TO MAKE YOUR OWN HOMEMADE WASHING
Marseille laundry soap comes in the form of shavings or cubes. You can use the bags of shavings available in our online shop and in Marius Fabre shops to make your own homemade laundry detergent. By making homemade laundry detergent with Marseille soap, you choose to clean your clothes and household linen without using substances that are harmful to your health or the environment.
Marius Fabre's Marseille soap shavings-based detergent is hypoallergenic, contains no colouring agents, no palm oil (sodium palmate), no additives, no preservatives and no fragrance. It will enable you to wash all your clothes effectively, even the most delicate. You can also use a cube of white Marseille soap that you grate yourself. Marseille soap can also be used as a stain remover before machine washing to remove stubborn stains.
To make your own homemade Marseille soap detergent, dilute 30 grams of Marius Fabre Marseille soap shavings in 1/2 litre of very hot water. Once diluted, pour in another 1/2 litre of hot water to make 1 litre of detergent. When cold, if you wish, you can add a tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda and 10 drops of essential oils of your choice.
Your Marius Fabre economical and ecological detergent is ready to be used to effectively clean the whole family's laundry while taking care of your skin. We recommend that you shake your detergent before each use.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SOAP FLAKES AND MARIUS FABRE MARSEILLE SOAP SHAVINGS ?
At Marius Fabre, we make real Marseille soap shavings from our cauldrons. In the end, the shavings are closer to the finished product. There is only one drying stage, which differentiates them from our cube of Marseille soap. Flakes, on the other hand, go through at least 2 different stages.
They are also made from palm oil or palm oil derivatives, whereas our Marius Fabre Marseille soap flakes are completely free of palm oil and are made from 100% vegetable oils: oleic sunflower oil and coconut oil.
