In 1900, Marius Fabre founded his soap company in Salon de Provence. Today, the fourth generation of his family is carrying on the tradition of real Marseille soap with the same passion. This traditional know-how, handed down through generations in our family, guarantees that Marseille soap has kept its peerless quality over centuries. We invite you to discover our traditional soap factory, during a guided tour.

The Marseille Soap Museum is to be found in an old drying-room, within the Marius Fabre soap factory.
The museum recounts the fascinating story of soap in Provence, which starts in the Middle Ages. The Marius Fabre company has conserved precious evidence : carved boxwood stamps, tools, early soap moulds…
This museum is the living reflection of a traditional activity that has been the Marius Fabre family’s enterprise for over a century.
